FREE Baby Care & Breastfeeding Classes
There's a lot to learn when caring for a newborn, and you may have a million questions, especially if this is your first baby. Your doctor's office and your delivering hospital may offer some educational classes but it most likely will cost you.
The Baby Academy is a great resource to have as they offer free baby care, baby safety, and breastfeeding preparation virtual classes taught by qualified healthcare professionals. Their classes are very thorough and informative, and you get to ask your questions at the end. Each class runs for about 2 hours and you have to register for them ahead of time. Another excellent resource to have is a certified doula who can provide additional emotional, physical, and educational support to you and your partner during your pregnancy and after your baby's birth. Check with your health insurance if they cover doula care.
